The LX100 and LX70 have the same basic lenses and prices, and accept the same lens, lighting, and stand options. The only difference between them is the zoom magnification range. The LX100 offers 15x to 100x, while the LX70 provides 10x to 70x. The LX70 would be better if you prefer a lower-magnification microscope with a wider viewing area.

Auto-Focusing

The Auto-Focusing feature on a digital microscope makes routine inspection faster and easier. The user can choose from continuous auto-focus, one-click auto-focus, or manual focus. By clicking any area of interest on the screen, the camera will automatically focus within a fraction of a second without manually moving the focus block up and down for tedious focusing. This new feature makes the LX-100 microscope more ergonomic than ever before.
